I am a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I came to New York City to pursue a career in the Performing Arts. Soon after my arrival, I made the decision to change my focus from acting to my other love, photography.

After 4 years of working as a freelance photographer, I purchased Exact Photo Inc., a black and white commercial photo lab. Fourteen years later I closed the lab, entering into the digital age with camera, again in hand. I am currently working as a medical photographer for The Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, NYU School of Medicine, NYU Medical Center.

My work has been published and exhibited in a variety of venues. My exhibit, "The World Trade Center Disaster Memorials" toured the country in 2002, and photos from it were featured in the AKC's book titled. "DOGNY America's Tribute to the Search and Rescue Dog". In July 2007, I recieved 3 Awards of Execellence from the BioCommunications Association.
